Pair of Illinois Speedweek appearances for Justin Duty
The Double Duty Motorsports team competed in the season’s first two FloRacing Night in America programs on Tuesday and Wednesday, each featuring nearly 50 entries and $20,000 first-place payouts in the Land of Lincoln.
On Tuesday, Justin Duty piloted his First Class Septic No. 15 Super Late Model at the quarter-mile LaSalle (Illinois) Speedway. He finished fifth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main, missing a transfer into the night’s 50-lap feature.
The next night, Duty traveled to Canton, Illinois, and the 3/8-mile Spoon River Speedway. He took seventh in his heat and 11th in his consolation race, again ending his evening before the 50-lap main event.
