Justin Duty turns in solid result in World of Outlaws Hawkeye 100
The Double Duty Motorsports team and driver Justin Duty journeyed to Maquoketa (Iowa) Speedway over the weekend for the Hawkeye 100. After a rainout on Friday, Duty was impressive in a 32-car World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series field on Saturday night.
Driving the Don Frank Floors No. 15 Super Late Model, Duty turned in the eighth-quickest time around the quarter-mile oval in his qualifying group and was sixth in his heat race. He finished fourth in his Last Chance Showdown, starting him 23rd in the 60-lap, $20,000-to-win main event.
He climbed nine spots in the feature and came home in the 14th position.
