9th-place result for John Duty at Willamette

John Duty traveled to Willamette Speedway (Lebanon, Oregon) on Saturday to do battle in a 25-car Super Late Model field as part of the Clair Cup 81.

Duty qualified 10th quickest and finished seventh in his heat on the 1/3-mile clay oval, putting his No. 5 car in the 50-lap, $4,000-to-win A-Main.

He turned in a ninth-place result.
