Justin Duty follows Lucas Oil MLRA to Davenport and 34 Raceway

Thursday night found Justin Duty in action at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) competing with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) for the opener of the tripleheader.

In a field of 45 cars, Justin’s eighth-to-fifth run in his heat race relegated him into a B-Main for another shot at the opener. Taking the top-three, Duty came two spots shy with a fifth-place outing.

On Friday afternoon at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) for the $10,555-to-win Slocum 50 after threatening weather forced officials to move Saturday’s main event to Friday, Duty timed in 13th-fastest in his group before placing sixth in his heat, sending him into a consolation race. Needing to place third or better, Justin fell one position short with a fourth-place finish.
